Little Rissington is a village in the east of Gloucestershire, sitting between Kingham and Bourton-on-the-Water. It is amongst a number of other "hidden" villages in the area.
There was for many years an RAF base there and Avro Lincoln heavy bombers from No.7 Squadron (based at Upwood in Huntingdonshire) spent a few days at Little Rissington RAF base in June 1952. The base has since been converted into a new village development, Upper Rissington, three-quarters of a mile to the east. There is still an airfield.
A mile and a half to the south is Great Rissington.
The population taken at the 2011 census was 280.
