Linbrook Lake

Linbrook Lake, also called Linbrook East, is a lake located on the west side of the New Forest, in south-western Hampshire. It is one of s complex of lakes here carved by the hand of man in the course of gravel extraction, on the east side of the River Avon and north of Ringwood.
The village of Blashford is to the west, beside the lakes and between them and the Avon. The lake can be viewed from the Avon Valley Path.
This area is frequented by bird watchers.[1]
Linbrook Lake is an old gravel pit, about 20 acres in size, with thick weeds and depths up to 12 feet. It is a top tench fishery, and is also known for bream and carp, and occasional rudd.[2]
This lake is adjacent to the Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve.[3]
