Lexham is a parish in Norfolk consisting of the twin villages of:
- East Lexham and
- West Lexham.
The parish covers an area of 2,404 acres with a population of 157 at the 2001 census.
The Lexham villages are just over a mile apart from each other and each sits six and a half miles north of Swaffham, the nearest town, and 18 miles by road east of Kings Lynn.
The two villages are served by St Nicholas Church in West Lexham and St Andrews in East Lexham, the two forming part of in the Benefice of Litcham. Both churches have round towers, a feature of a scattering of early Norfolk and Suffolk churches, and St Andrews reputed to be the oldest in the country.[1]
The River Nar flows beside the villages and the Nar Valley Way passes through, with a permissive path through the grounds of Lexham Hall estate.[2]
