Law Brook near the hamlet of Brook

The Law Brook or Postford Brook is a tributary of the Tilling Bourne in Surrey. It rises near Peaslake and drains the Winterfold Forest and Hurtwood.

The upper catchment is heavily wooded, although there is some urban development in the lower catchment. The Brook forms the boundary between the parishes of Albury and St Martha.[1]

Like the Tillingbourne, the waters of the Law Brook were harnessed through the construction of leats and mill ponds to provide power for industrial mills.[2]

The North Downs Line follows the course of the Brook between Chilworth and Albury Heath.
