The Laussedat Heights rise to 4,400 feet above sea level on the north-east side of Andvord Bay, on the Danco Coast of Graham Land in the British Antarctic Territory.
The heights were photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition and surveyed from the ground by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from "Danco Island" in 1956-57. The heights are named in association with the names of pioneers of photogrammetry grouped in this area; in this case after Aimé Laussedat (1819-1907), a French military engineer called "the father of photogrammetry", who pioneered the application of photography to surveying from c. 1851 onwards.
