Langleybury
Langleybury is an old estate in Hertfordshire now sundered into separate farms to the southwest of Kings Langley and Abbots Langley and taking its name from those towns, which were once one manor. Many a manor in and around Hertfordshire takes the suffix "-bury". The hamlet of Langleybury lies along the western side of the busy A41 north out of Watford, by the River Gade. The estate stretches up the low hill to the west
The parish of Langleybury stretches across both sides of the busy A41 north out of Watford, and serves Hunton Bridge and parts of Leavesden as well as the farms and farmsteads beyond. The parish church is St Paul's Langleybury.
The historic grand manor house in the parish, The Grove, is now an exclusive country club and hotel in extensive grounds.
