Kitchen Point

Kitchen Point is the eastern headland point of Robert Island, amongst the South Shetland Islands, in the British Antarctic Territory.
The point was photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expeditionin the 1956-57 season. It is named in association with the names of nineteenth-century sealers in this area, named after Captain Joseph Kitchen, Master of the sealing ship Ann from Liverpool, who visited the South Shetland Islands in 1821-22.
