Highwood is a village in Essex, about a mile south of the A414 road and four miles west of the centre of the county town, Chelmsford. Loves Green is part of the village at its centre, with Cooksmill Green and Radley Green to the North. A hamlet, Edney Common, is at the east of the parish. In 2011 the parish had a population of 654.[1]
