Harwood on Teviot is a minor hamlet in Upper Teviotdale, one of a series dotted along the River Teviot above Hawick, and beside the A7 which runs down the dale from Teviothead to Hawick.
Harwood sits up a little lane from the A road. Below it a small bridge carries the lane over the Teviot to Broadhaugh.
