Hanley Child is a hamlet in the westernmost part of Worcestershire, in the county's Doddingtree Hundred, four mils south-east of Tenbury Wells, and close to the Malvern Hills. Its like-named hamlet, Hanley William, is a mile and a half to the east, with Broad Heath sitting between them.
Hanley-Child was formerly a chapelry in the parish of Eastham,[1]
