Entering Greenlaw, the ancient county town of Berwickshire

Greenlaw is a small town in Berwickshire. It is situated in the foothills of the Lammermuir Hills on the Blackadder Water. The town takes its name from the nearby Greenlaw hill.

Greenlaw's impressive town hall, completed in 1831, is a listed building from the time when Greenlaw served as Berwickshire's county town. It was one of the buildings shortlisted in the 2006 BBC television series Restoration Village.
