Fraochaidh is a mountain of 2,884 feet in the Appin area of Argyllshire, and counted amongst the Glencoe Hills of the county. It is found to the south of Glen Coe and the grander mountains which stand by it, and inland of Loch Linnhe, to the north of the west coast port of Oban.

A steep sided mountain, many of the approaches to Fraochaidh are covered in thick forest plantations. The best route to the summit is from the Glen Coe side to its north.[1]
