Elberton is a village in the very south of Gloucestershire, close to the broad Severn Estuary and in the parish of Aust. The village is to be found just beyond Alveston and Olveston, on a B-road that leads towards the Severn Bridge.
This is mostly a farming community, with a small church, St John's, which stands just to the south of the village.
Elberton was the birthplace of the Quaker anti-slavery campaigner Joseph Sturge.
