The Droma River, or Abhainn Droma is a river of Ross-shire, which reaches the sea in Loch Broom.

The Droma begins its course in Loch Droma in the mountains and from here it makes its way north-westwards through the Braemore Forest, followed all the way by the A835.

The waters enter in time a steep, spectacular wooded gorge, the Corrieshalloch Gorge, and plunge over the renowned Falls of Measach.

The river emerges from the gorge as the River Broom, and enters a wider valley, heading north. It soon encounters one of the parcels of Cromartyshire, and thenceforth the River Broom marks the boundary between the two counties, Ross to the east and Cromarty to the west, until it becomes tidal at Clachan and at once enters the head of Loch Broom, a long sea loch on the Atlantic coast
