Commonwood is a hamlet in Hertfordshire lying between Sarratt and Chipperfield. Commonwood is built on Bucks Hill; the hamlet of Bucks Hill is just to the east. Sarratt, to which it is most attached, lies across the valley.

A lane leads west from Commonwood to Penman's Green, and then in a track down to Belsize.
