Carhampton Hundred in Somerset

Carhampton Hundred is one of the hundreds of Somerset, dating from before the Norman conquest.

The Hundred is situated to the west of the county, adjacent to the border with Devon. It is bounded on all sides by Williton and Freemanners Hundred, with the exception of the very south-east where it is adjacent to a small part of Taunton Deane Hundred, and the very north-west where it borders Devon.[1]
