Bempstone Hundred in Somerset

Bempstone Hundred is one of the hundreds of Somerset, dating from before the Norman conquest.

The Hundred is situated to the he west of the county, bounded on the north by Winterstoke Hundred; on the east by Wells Forum; on the south-east by Glaston Twelve Hides; on the south by Whitley Hundred; and on the south-west by Huntspill and Puriton Hundred.[1]
