Calve Island is an uninhabited island on the east coast of the Isle of Mull in Argyllshire. It provides some shelter for Tobermory Bay and is separated from Mull by a tidal channel.[1] The island is a mile in length.[2] Under water there is a popular diving site.[3] The island is owned by the Cotton family who make use of it in the summer months.[4]
Stamps
Local stamps were issued for Calve Island in 1984 bearing the image of a Basset Hound. The nearest GPO post box is at Tobermory, on mainland Mull.[5][6]
