Blakeney is a village in western Gloucestershire.[2] It is the largest village in the parish of Awre. It has views of the Forest of Dean.
It was the site of a Roman villa, dating back to AD 75,[2] and was home to Thomas Sternhold, a groom of King Henry VIII's Robes.[2]
The local manor house is Hayes Manor, Viney Hill.[3]
