The Berthelot Islands consist of five main islands, the northernmost of which is Green Island, and a number of rocks, all off Collins Bay on the Graham Coast of the British Antarctic Territory.

The islands were roughly charted by the French Antarctic Expedition of 1903-05, which however charted the group as one island they named Île Berthelot, after Marcelin Pierre Eugène Berthelot (1827-1907), French chemist and politician. A survey by the French Antarctic Expedition of 1908-10, on 4 January 1909, recognised that the group consisted of separate islands and so they were renamed Îles Berthelot.

The islands were photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition in 1956-57.
