Ben Horn is a mountain of £2,549 feet in the north of Sutherland, on the border of the Parishes of Durness and Eddrachillis To the north of the main summit is a craggy subsidiary top, Creagan Ben Horn, reaching 2,398 feet above sea level, the name of which is also given to the mountain as a whole.
This mountain is the source of several streams running north, south and east. Beneath the crags of the north-east face of the mountain are two small lochs, Lochan Ulbha and An Dubh-loch whose outflow runs to Loch Dionard to the north and thence to the sea in the Kyle of Durness.
