These hills are far too numerous to list comprehensively as a guide; eighty-six at one count. In Argyllshire alone for example, which has many of them, Jura and Kintyre have two apiece. Even the modest Isle of Arran names two hills Beinn Bhreac.
One such mountain is a Munro, over 3,000 feet, and others approach that height. The highest of these mountains are:
- Beinn Bhreac, Barcaldine, 2,382 feet
- Stirlingshire: Beinn Bhreac, Arrochar, 2,234 feet
