Beinn Bhreac (Gaelic for "speckled hill") is a name shared by a great number of mountains and hills of the Highlands, Argyll, the Hebrides and beyond.
These hills are far too numerous to list comprehensively as a guide; eighty-six at one count. In Argyllshire alone for example, which has many of them, Jura and Kintyre have two apiece. Even the modest Isle of Arran names two hills Beinn Bhreac.
One such mountain is a Munro, over 3,000 feet, and others approach that height. The highest of these mountains are:
- Argyllshire:
- Beinn Bhreac, Barcaldine, 2,382 feet
- Beinn Bhreac, Glen Fyne, 2,051 feet
- Cairngorms:
- Beinn Bhreac, Glen Derry, 3,061 feet
- Beinn Bhreac, Blair Atholl, 2,992 feet
- Stirlingshire: Beinn Bhreac, Arrochar, 2,234 feet
