Barney is a village in Norfolk, in the north of the county, to the south of the A148 King's Lynn to Cromer road, near Thursford. The village is seven miles east of Fakenham and 17 miles west of Cromer.
The village is listed in the Domesday Book of 1086.[1] In 1931 the parish had a population of 243.[2]
