Ashwellthorpe is a village in south-western Norfolk, found three and a half miles south-east of Wymondham and nine miles south-west of Norwich. It stands under a mile north-west of the neighbouring hamlet, Fundenhall.
The village used to have a railway station on the Forncett to Wymondham line, but it closed to passengers in 1939.[1]
