Ardgartan is a hamlet, on the Cowal peninsula of Argyllshire, standing on the western shore of Loch Long (which divides Argyll from Dunbartonshire), at the bottom of Glen Croe.
The hamlet sits lies within the Argyll Forest Park, which is itself within the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.[1]
Ardgartan House
Ardgartan House was used as a youth hostel and operated for 70 years until it was closed in 2002.[2]
