Altamuskin or Altamooskan is a small village and townland in Tyrone. It is situated in the Barony of Clogher which townland covers 1,165 acres.[1] In the 2014 Census Altamuskin had a population of 127 people (54 houses).[2]
The name of the village is from the Gaelic Allt a' Mhúscáin meaning 'Glen of the spongy ground'[3]
The Roman Catholic church here is St Bridget's.
