Allen Point is the south-eastern headland of Montagu Island in the South Sandwich Islands.

This coast was charted by Discovery Investigations in 1930 and the point was named after Harold Tuckwell Allen (1879-1950), Secretary of the Interdepartmental Committee on Research and Development in the Dependencies of the Falkland Islands, 1917-20, and a member of the "Discovery" Committee from 1924 to 1931. Allen Bay on the east coast of South Georgia is also named after him.

The name, in various languages, is accepted usage internationally; it appears as Punta Allen on Argentine charts for example though in 1958 it was marked as Cerro Franco, meaning 'Clear hill', because the hill allows Montagu Island to be readily identified from different directions.
