Sundhope is a minor hamlet consisting of little more than a farmstead on the south bank of the Yarrow Water, where the Sundhope Burn joins the river, in Selkirkshire.
The hamlet sits in Yarrowdale amidst imposing, bare hills, in the area known nevertheless as the Ettrick Forest. Its only road connection to the wider land is a narrow lane over the bridge on the Yarrow.
Sundhope Height to the south reaches 1,680 feet, a top on a ridge from Black Knowe Head (1,804 feet).
