Black Knowe Head is a hill of 1,806 feet in the Ettrick Forest of Selkirkshire.
Standing amongst the hills between the Ettrick Water to the south and the Yarrow Water to the north, Black Knowe Head is second only in height to The Wiss (1,932 feet), three miles to the west in this section of the Ettrick Hills.
