The South Riding of Lindsey is a division of the Lindsey part of Lincolnshire. It consists of the eastern part of the county, and includes the following hundreds:

  • Candleshoe Wapentake (Marsh, and Wold divisions)
  • Gartree Wapentake (North and South)
  • Hill Hundred
  • Louth-Eske Hundred (Marsh and Wold divisions)
  • Wraggoe Wapentake (East and West divisions)
  • Bolingbroke Soke (East and West)
  • Horncastle Soke

It is the largest but least-populous of the ridings, with a population of 128,806 at the 2011 census. It covers an area of 668 square miles.
