Pistyll Gwyn is a pretty waterfall on the River Crawcwellt in Merionethshire, tumbling 13 feet down in a clearing in a high wood. Its name simply means 'White Spout'. The river above the fall is known as the Nant Llyn-du (‘Stream of the black lake’)
