Bache Hill is a hill in Radnorshire which may be accounted a subsidiary summit of Great Rhos, in the Radnor Forest. It is located to the east of Black Mixen. The summit is marked by a trig point built on an ancient burial mound.
Some controversy arises from the burial mound; in that the mound takes the hill's height up to 2,001 feet, but if, as seems certain, that top height is man-made, some walkers doubt the validity of Bache Hill's 2,000-foot status within the hil lists. It is nevertheless counted by the Ordnance Survey.[1]
