Colney Street is a hamlet in Hertfordshire.

Colney Street stands on the A5183 road, which marks an ancient route; that of the Roman road known as Watling Street, and after this street the village receives its name; the part of Colney on the street.

The northern boundary of the village is made by the M25 motorway. These location advantages have led to it becoming a primarily industrial and business area.
