Middle Island is a small island in the north of Diego Garcia, an atoll of the British Indian Ocean Territory.
The island lies in the middle of the sea passage into the lagoon in the very north of the ring-reef of Diego Garcia, just to the west of East Island. It is separated from West Island by the passage known as Main Pass.
