Nebo is a hamlet on the Isle of Anglesey, just southeast of Pengorffwysfa.

The name is Biblical, like a number of village names on Anglesey, from a mountain in the Holy Land from which Moses was shown the Promised Land:

And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan.
Deuteronomy 34:1
