Penguin Point is a headland on the south-east coast of Seymour Island, one of the James Ross Island Group off the point of Graham Land.
The point was possibly sighted by James Ross in 1843. It was roughly charted by Carl Anton Larsen in November 1893 and called Cap Seymour, in association with the island. The point surveyed by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition in January 1902 and named Pinguinenkap because of a large penguin rookery found there. It was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from 'Hope Bay' in 1946 and 1952.
