Bodffordd is a village in central Anglesey. As of 2001 the population as a parish was 909.

Bodffordd is located just under two miles away from the central town of Llangefni and is on the south-western edge of the reservoir Llyn Cefni. It is the nearest settlement to RAF Mona. According to the United Kingdom Census 2001, 77.9% of the population in the electoral division can speak the Welsh language. The age group with the highest number is the 15 year olds, where 100% can speak the language.

The village was originally called Bodffordd Esgob ("Bishop's Bodffordd") because it belonged to the Bishop of Bangor.

Village life once revolved around the windmill just north of the village and its related trades. This has now been converted into a private residence. The village was also on a drovers road on the way to Llangefni market and there were two poor houses nearby. Many of these older dwelling have fallen into disrepair but the village church, dedicated to St. Llwydian's, is still in good condition.

Despite the fact that the village has few facilities (it does have a primary school/village hall, electrical outlet/shop, MOT garage/computer workshop and small shop) it was chosen to host the 2007 Anglesey Eisteddfod, a considerable honour.

The village is the site of the Mona Industrial Estate, which in 2009 was given planning permission to build a 25,000 tonne animal waste anaerobic digestion plant. Developer Ecoparc Môn, part of Anglesey-based Gray’s Waste Management Systems, has been promised £1.1m in grants from the Welsh Assembly Government through the Waste & Resources Action Programme, towards the developments £3.5m projected cost.[1]
