Washingley is a minor hamlet in Huntingdonshire, along the lane to the west of Folksworth and very close to ther border with Northamptonshire. It sharing the parish of Folksworth & Washingley with its neighbour.
There are old earthworks to be seen in the field here, the overgrown remains of a motte and bailey, which are a hint of the castle and village which onece stood here, now vanished.
