Conchie Glacier
Conchie Glacier is a glacier on the west coast of Palmer Land which flows west-south-west into George VI Sound pressing its ice between the Batterbee Mountains and the Steeple Peaks, in the British Antarctic Territory.
Following surveys by the British Antarctic Survey, 1962-72, the glacier was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Flight-Lieutenant Bertie J. Conchie of the Royal Air Force, pilot with the British Antarctic Survey, who flew the British Antarctic Survey Twin Otter from 1969 to 1975.
