Scaynes Hill is a village in Sussex. It lies on the A272 road two miles east of Haywards Heath.
The site of a disused quarry in the village has exposed sandstone originating from the Wealden flood plain, which is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.[1]
The village church is dedicated to St Augustine of Canterbury and was built in 1858.[2] The church is a Grade II listed building.[3]
