Sibson is a tiny village in the far north-western corner of Huntingdonshire, nestled up against the River Nene, which is the county's northern border with Northamptonshire. Sibson is within the loop of the Nene.
The village consists only of a few cottages and the charming mid-17th Century manor house.
The A1M forces its way brutally through the village and separates the cottages to the northeast of the road from the farms to the southwest, which are only linked again by the road through the village's larger neighbour to the northwest, Stibbington.
Wansford Station on the Nene Valley Railway is, despite its name, at Sibson; now the westernmost station on the line. The headquarters of the Nene Valley Railway are at Wansford Station; the line is one of Huntingdonshire's most popular tourist attractions.
Sibson Aerodrome is less than a mile south of the village, a small, privately-owned airfield which provides facilities for flying, parachuting and other outdoor pursuits.
With Stibbington, and the Huntingdonshire part of Wansford, it the forms a join civil parish named Sibson-cum-Stibbington.
Across the Nene in Northamptonshire are broad meadows and the village of Sutton.
