Fisher Peak

Summit: 3,600 feet 75°51’48"S, 68°25’58"W

Fisher Peak is one of the easterly of the Hauberg Mountains in southern Palmer Land in the British Antarctic Territory, its summit reaching about 3,600 feet above sea level.

The mountain was climbed by a United States Geological Survey field party in December 1977. It is named after Cdr Dwight David Fisher, the United States Navy, commanding Antarctic Development Squadron Six, 1984-85, and command pilot on the first landing by LC-130 aircraft on the English Coast in December 1984.
