Hinde Nunataks

The Hinde Nunataks are two distinct nunataks, bare rock outcrops, found between the Sweeney Mountains and the Hauberg Mountains in southern Palmer Land in the British Antarctic Territory. The east peak stands at 4,905 feet above sea level and the west peak at 4,856 feet. They are found six and a half miles south-east of the Witte Nunataks.

These nunataks are named after Stephen Hinde, a recipient of the Polar Medal, a British Antarctic Survey Field Assistant from 1998 to 2004, Base Commander at Halley Station 2004 to 2005 and at Rothera Station (2005 to 2008).
