Boarhunt, also known locally as South Boarhunt, is a tiny village in south-eastern Hampshire; a companion to North Boarhunt, a larger village a mile to the north. Boarhunt stands on the north slope of Ports Down: south of the village, on the ridge is a Palmerston fort, Fort Nelson, and by it the Nelson Monument.

The nearest town is Portchester to the soiuth, over Portsdown, while the much larger town, Fareham, is two miles south-west of the village.
