Shootash is a hamlet in the west of Hampshire.

Before the First World War, this was an area consisting of a few farmsteads, woodland and common land which subsequently developed during the 20th century into a small hamlet along the main A27 Romsey to Whiteparish road, lying within the northern boundary of the Parish of Wellow.

The nearest town is Romsey, two and a half miles south-east of this hamlet, while West Wellow is two miles to the south-west across the border in Wiltshire.
