Huntspill and Puriton Hundred in Somerset

Huntspill and Puriton Hundred is one of the hundreds of Somerset, dating from before the Norman conquest.

The Hundred is situated to the west of the county, adjacent to the Bristol Channel. It is bounded to the north by Bempstone Hundred; to the south-east by Whitley Hundred; to the south by North Petherton Hundred; and to the west by Carhampton Hundred.[1]

It comprises the ancient parishes of Huntspill and Puriton.
