Llantwit-juxta-Neath
Llantwit-juxta-Neath is an ancient parish in the Neath Hundred of Glamorgan stretching along the Vale of Neath north-eastwards from the town of Neath.
The parish consists of the townships of Llantwit, Clyne and Resolven. Much of Llantwit itself now forms suburbs of Neath, with the parish church situated just on the northern edge of the town.
The church dates from at least the 13th century. Records indicate that the church has been restored on several occasions, most notably in 1859, when the floor was raised 18 inches to avoid flooding. Extensive repair works were carried out in 2003. It has been Grade II* listed since 1963.
