Loch a' Bhainne

Loch a' Bhainne is a small, upland freshwater loch in Inverness-shire lying to the north of the Great Glen, some two miles north of the east end of Loch Garry and three and a half miles north-west of Invergarry.

The loch is roughly triangular in shape with a perimeter of less than half a mile. It is approximately a third of a mile long, has an average depth of ten feet and is 28 feet at its deepest. The loch was surveyed[1] in 1903 by James Murray[2] as part of Sir John Murray's Bathymetrical Survey of Fresh-Water Lochs of Scotland 1897-1909.
