Geal Loch and the tip of Loch Lomond

Geal Loch is a tiny loch in the very northernmost stretch of Dunbartonshire. It lies just yards from the northern tip of Loch Lomond and when the waters are high the two merge. The loch has been separated by a berm from the course of the River Falloch, which enters Loch Lomond's northern tip.

The wee loch is just north of the hamlet of Ardlui and less than a mile downstream of the border of Perthshire to the north, and close too to Argyll to the west and Stirlingshire to the east.
