Bardell Rock lies awash off the north of the Pitt Islands, a group within the Biscoe Islands group in the British Antarctic Territory. It lies one nautical mile south of the Dickens Rocks.

The rock was charted by a Royal Navy Hydrographic Survey Unit from HMS Endurance in 1969. As with other names amongst the Pitt Islands, this rock is named after character in the Pickwick Papers; after Mrs Bardell, Pickwick's landlady whose misunderstanding landed him in court.
